Megan Fox Bio
Megan Denise Fox was born on May 16, 1986 in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, the second daughter of Darlene Tonachio and Franklin Foxx, who crossed out an “x” from her surname.
When she was very young, her parents divorced her and she was strictly raised by her mother and her new stepfather.
As a teenager, she was noticed by model scouts and won several competitions. But she dreamed of becoming an actress. However, her career aspiration led her to see other girls in person – whom she says had a hard time at school.
However, Megan got the last laugh of her when she landed her first acting job in sister film Olsen Holiday in the Sun in 2001, when she played Ashley Olsen’s rival on screen. It went straight to DVD, but it kicked off her acting career.
After several inconspicuous roles, she landed a starring role in the American series Ocean Avenue and appeared in Hope & Faith and Two and a Half Men.
In 2004 she made her film debut in Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen opposite Lindsay Lohan. But it wasn’t until 2007, when she was cast in Transformers, that she attracted a lot of attention.
The media took an interest in this outspoken girl who bore a strong resemblance to Angelina Jolie and she seemed to be earning as many inches with her outrageous and bizarre comments as she did with her movies of hers.
