The #TanaCon event, a rival event of VidCon, was canceled on the day it was supposed to take place, leaving many people upset and unhappy.
In addition to her work on social media, Tana has released several singles. In 2019, Tana starred in her MTV reality show titled MTV No Filter: Tana turns 21.

Tana Marie Mongeau was born on June 24, 1998 in Las Vegas, Nevada, to parents Rick and Rebecca. She had a tense childhood, as she later revealed in “MTV No Filter: Tana Turns 21,” where she added that her parents did not have adequate parenting skills when she was growing up.
As of September 2021, Tana Mongeau has more than 5.7 million followers on Instagram, 2.5 million followers on Twitter, 5.46 million subscribers on YouTube and 6.8 million followers on TikTok.
Tana first launched her YouTube channel in 2015 and began uploading a variety of personal and comedic videos. However, her most popular videos of her are her “Storytime” videos of her on her channel, in which she discusses a variety of personal issues. Across her channel, Tana has received millions of views on her account. One of her most popular videos of all time is the “ROASTING YOUTUBER COACHELLA OUTFITS” video which has had over 10 million views on her channel.
The YouTube star has also ventured into the music industry. She released her debut single “Hefner” in 2017 with a video with Bella Thorne. In the same year, Tana worked with Lil Phag and Dr. I woke up with his next song “Deadahh”. Her second solo single “W” was released in 2018. In the same year she released “Fuck Up”. In 2019, the star released her single “FaceTime”.
In 2018, Tana faced her first controversy when she announced #TanaCon, an anti-vidcon event. The event came after VidCon refused to give her the spot as the featured creator at VidCon. The event took place at the same time as VidCon and was canceled on the same day. More than 80 other stars were willing to hold panels including Thorne, Shane Dawson, Casey Neistat, Miranda Sings, Ricky Dillon, Elijah Daniel, Jenn McAllister, Gabbie Hanna and others.
